Kinetic Facade Shading, Horizontal Hinged Facade Shading

The Horizontal Hinged Shading System transforms façades into dynamic compositions of light, movement, and elegance. Comprising single sashes hinged on a slim frame, each panel operates independently and can be fitted with manual or electric locking systems, allowing complete control over light, privacy, and security. Sashes may be installed one per opening or as facing pairs, with movement along the horizontal axis, either manually or electrically. Each panel spans up to 1.2 meters in width and 5 meters in height, combining grandeur with minimalism.

Typically installed within the building frame, the system can also be mounted externally to achieve a perfectly integrated façade. Material versatility is exceptional, accommodating natural wood, GRP, glass, fiber cement, ceramic, perforated metal sheets, aluminum blades, and ACP, allowing the shading to blend seamlessly with the architectural language.

With a total depth of 150mm for electric operation—or just 60mm for manual—the system balances slim aesthetics with sophisticated engineering. Electric panels can be centrally controlled via a Building Management System or individually through a wall switch or remote, either independently or in groups, providing effortless, intuitive operation.
