Kinetic Facade Shading, Horizontal Pivot Shading, Clustered

Clustered Sashes is a kinetic masterpiece of horizontal pivot shading, where multiple sashes move in perfectly synchronized motion, creating façades that are both dynamic and sculptural. Each sash is pivoted on a slim frame or directly on the building structure, and a connecting rod links the cluster, ensuring every panel moves gracefully and in harmony. Clusters can be installed per opening or as a series of connected clusters, offering limitless design possibilities. Movement occurs along the horizontal axis, either manually or electrically, with each sash spanning up to 1.2 meters wide and 5 meters tall, combining scale with minimalist elegance.

Typically installed within the building frame, the system can also be mounted externally for seamless integration with the façade, perfectly complementing the architectural envelope. Material options are exceptionally versatile, including natural wood, GRP, glass, fiber cement, ceramic, perforated metal sheets, aluminum blades, and ACP, allowing the shading to harmonize flawlessly with the building’s design language.

The system requires a total depth of 150–600mm, accommodating motors and sash rotation while maintaining sleek, clean lines. Electric clusters can be managed centrally via a Building Management System or individually through a wall switch or remote, in single or grouped operation, providing intuitive and effortless control.
